Joshua's bio reads like a "who's who" of Chicago/Detroit/SF house culture. After sending demos to Derrick and Chez Damier, he was invited to Chicago to make music and ended up teaming with Diz and recording their first track at the legendary KMS studios in Detroit. Giving up a full time job opportunity at HotWired, Joshua moved in with the Red Nail posse (Derrick, Mark Farina, G-Most and Chris Nazuka), with the illusionary Chez being another semi-permanent resident. He began making music for Blue Cucaracha, Prescription and its offshoot Balance, as well as spinning regularly at the Red Dog and Shelter. A few years later (after moving to SF) he co-hosted (with fellow dj Solar) the infamous Bionic sunday nights at The Top in San Francisco, which during its time was the longest running house weekly in the city (6+ years.)

Operating under many guises... including Stereo People, Free Energy, Dubwise, and J-Boom, Joshua has drawn on his many musical influences to create a sound uniquely his own, yet never formulaic. With well over 100 releases bearing his name, Joshua’s production and remix work is respected and in demand worldwide. with projects & remixes on labels such as Junior Boys Own, Ubiquity, OM, Classic, Developed, Nightshift, Seasons, NRK, Tweekin', Aesoteric, and Silver Network.

Not one to soley rely on studio work, Joshua has also become an in-demand DJ all over the world, spinning regularly at Fabric (London), the Sub Club (Glasgow) the Rex in Paris, New Zealand as well as various other locales around the globe.
