I just picked up one of these for $200 on eBay, brand new, still in the box. I know, it's not the newest fanciest thing on the market, but I have pretty moderate needs and probably don't need the features some of the higher-priced units offer.

I'll admit it -- I've never been much of a music producer. When it comes to writing and composing my own stuff, I've come up short far more often than not. From talking to other musicians, it's a very common problem.
